Artmania
Artmania is run by Elena Sacks who is a qualified art and craft teacher with more than 10 years experience teaching in primary and high schools, as well as conducting private art classes and holiday programs at The Fire Station Print Studio in Armadale, Melbourne. The art programs aim to inspire, enrich and build up children’s confidence and self esteem.
The children have the opportunity to experience and work with a wide variety of skills, techniques and art mediums. Some of these include: painting (acrylics, watercolour, pastels), drawing (pencil, charcoal, aquarelles), printmaking, collage, sculpture and textiles.
All art materials are included in the fee structure. Wednesday and Thursday after school classes (4pm - 5.30pm) as well as Saturday mornings (10am - 11.30am) are available. Please note that these art classes are not suitable for children under 6 years old.
Students get to choose what mediums and projects they wish to pursue and are then mentored through the project by the teacher.
